Säntispark features impressive water and bathing landscapes, wellness facilities, and saunas. The bathing park was built in 1986. In 2016, the facility was expanded to include a world of slides. In 2024, several areas were modernized, and three additional slides were added. Säntispark is located in the canton of St. Gallen in eastern Switzerland next to the city of St. Gallen. It is open year-round for bathers.

- Starry Rush Slide: The slide is 125 m long in total and suitable for slide fans from 6 years old. It takes you through the magical dark with starry sky.
- Ice Channel Slide: You can slide down the ice channel 180 m with airy tires. It is open for everyone from 7 years old.
- Super G Slide: This slide for ages 7 and up has a double whammy. It goes down 120 m on a parallel tire slide with lots of fun.
- Wildbach Slide: Like a raging torrent, the slide has been built 155 m long for children 8 years and older.
- Wildwater Canyon Slide: Moving and wild waves take you 110 meters. Whitewater is accessible for visitors from 8 years old.
- Whirlwind Slide: You slide down 90 m in a bowl and swirling water. The whirlwind is open for everyone from 10 years.
- Säntis Pipe Slide: The Säntis Pipe is legendary. If you take a seat in the tire here, you'll feel like you're riding on the water in a half pipe as you whiz down! The action and fun factor is guaranteed for ages 10 and up

Pools in Säntispark
For those who prefer a more tranquil atmosphere, we recommend the impressively designed bathing landscape in both indoor and outdoor areas. A highlight is certainly the wave pool surrounded by natural stone with an imitated surf zone.
- Wave Pool: The wave pool is one of the central baths with a surf zone and water fountain. You can ride the waves here every hour on the hour. Alternatively, you can grab one of the relaxation loungers located around the pool and watch the action from there. The snake slide also leads into the pool and is allowed for children from 2 years old.
- Children's Swimming World: Here, toddlers can entertain themselves under a water rainbow, on floating logs, and with a play stream. For children aged 2 years and older, there are the sky slide and the wide slide to try out.
- Outdoor Adventure Pool: A large current channel provides plenty of action. Various whirlpool options and massage jets offer relaxation. All of this is accompanied by a fascinating light show.
- Saltwater Bath in Indoor and Outdoor Areas: The healing bath with a salt source has a water temperature of 34 degrees and various massage jets.
Wellness in the Säntispark

- Sole Bath and Whirlpool: The brine bath is located in the main area of the water park and offers you a very good physical relaxation at a pleasant 34 degrees. - Roman Irish Bath: This bath is just right for boosting your immune system. There are 12 stations where you can enjoy hot air baths and pleasant rest. We recommend you to make a reservation in advance. The bath is not included in the entrance fee.
- PrivateSpa: PrivatSpa is for those who like it luxurious and want to be pampered with an individual spa offer for a day on 100 square meters. The offer includes an experience shower, a Finnish sauna, a steam bath and a whirlpool. Advance reservations are required for the PrivatSpa. The spa is not included in the entrance fee.

Arrival Säntispark
The leisure center Säntispark is located in the municipality of Abtwil next to the city of St. Gallen. The park takes its name from a mountain of the Alpstein, a mountain range in the cantons of Appenzell Ausserrhoden, Appenzell Innerrhoden and St. Gallen. At 2502 meters above sea level, the Säntis is the highest peak of the mountain range.
by car
From Zurich to Abtwil it is an 80 km drive. By car you drive from Zurich on the A1 in the direction of St. Gallen. Then take the exit Winkeln/Abtwil. Already at the entrance of the village you can see the entrance to the Säntispark on the right side. The parking spaces are indicated by signs on site.
The Rope Park in Gründenstrasse belonging to the Säntispark can be reached after 2 km in a northerly direction via Kreuzbühlstrasse.
by public transport
By train you can reach Abtwil from Zurich in just over 1 hour and 30 minutes. From Zurich you take the train directly to St. Gallen. From here, bus no. 3 or 4 will take you to the Säntispark bus stop. You can reach the leisure center from the bus stop in 190 m after a 2 min walk.

What you should pay attention to
- Children under 12 years of age are only allowed to enter the pool when accompanied by a person of full age.
- On weekends, the appointments for massages are usually booked up quickly from the start. We recommend that you book your appointment online in good time.
- For privacy reasons, filming in the bathing area with cell phones or cameras is prohibited.
- Swimming aids such as water wings are not allowed in the slides.
What you should bring
- For the pool: swimwear, towel, and flip-flops.
- Bath towels can also be rented on-site.
