Morschach is located in the canton of Schwyz above the village of Brunnen on a natural terrace above Lake Lucerne. To the northeast you look over the wide valley basin of Schwyz. In the opposite direction you can see the mountains of Uri and the historic Rütli meadow. Morschach is home to the Swiss Holiday Park, the largest vacation & leisure resort in Switzerland. An aerial cableway takes visitors in a few minutes to the car-free village of Stoos at 1305 m above sea level, which also belongs to the municipality of Morschach. In Morschach, above the village, lies the 7.5 x 6 m Druidenstein.
