The municipality Wildhaus - Alt St. Johann is a merged municipality in Toggenburg. It is located at 895 m above sea level and lies northeast of Lake Walen. Wildhaus - Alt St. Johann is known for the valley station of the Sellamatt cable car. The valley station of the mountain railroad to Iltios and the Churfirsten Chäserrugg is only 300 m away in the adjacent Unterwasser.
