St. Antönien is a scattered settlement in the Prättigau. The first mountaineering village in Switzerland is perfect for mountain hikers, climbers and ski tourers. You will find here very different levels of difficulty. The ski lift Junker brings skiers to the top. St. Antönien lies very sunny in the St. Antöniental at 1450 m above sea level and is a typical Walser village. Here care is taken to avoid mass tourism. The 16 km long Schanielabach drains the valley. In the village center there is a local museum showing the Walser culture and cave bears of this area.
