Performance Check Carving Grindelwald First

Two hours of private lessons with lots of tips await you in the Grindelwald First ski area. You will improve your basic carving skills so that you can ski more safely and with less effort on steeper slopes. Together with your coach, you will improve your carving technique and can recognize your progress by means of learning checks.

Red Star:

• Suitable for children from 5 to approx. 12 years of age
• Information about nature, forest and landscape
• Parallel turns in the pole couloir and course
• Parallel swing "Switch" (slid)
• Single-leg turns on easy slopes
• Short turns on a medium-difficulty slope

Black Prince/Princess:

• Info about the material preparation
• Short turns with poles on difficult slopes
• Jumping straight and fifty-fifty over box
• Parallel turns in unprepared snow
• Carve turns (cut parallel turns) on wide, easy slopes

Black Academy:

• Parallel turn "Race"
• Short turn "Race"

Two hours of private lessons can be very exhausting. Afterwards, it's best to visit Barry's Restaurant & Bar in Grindelwald. Here you can look forward to authentic Swiss cuisine and a very relaxed atmosphere.
