Samedan lies in the middle of the Upper Engadine north of St. Moritz and is spoiled by the sun. The town is the hub of the Rhaetian Railway and is located at the highest airfield in Europe. Culture lovers will get their money's worth in Samedan. The village has an exciting museum, an old Romanesque library, the famous church tower "La Tuor" and a very traditional village center.
