Discover the special chocolate history of Bern. On the city tour you will follow the footsteps of the great chocolate pioneers and taste delicious Bernese chocolate along the way. Look forward to a visit to the Matte Distillery followed by a tasting of spirits and delicious chocolate.

Awaiting you is a 2.5 hour chocolate and schnapps city tour in Bern!

You will meet your city guide at Bärenplatz in front of the Käfigturm in Bern. During the whole city tour you will walk on the tracks of the great chocolate pioneers of the city and discover the chocolate history of Bern. You will be guided to the houses where Tobler, Block, Suchard & Wander once started and can taste the delicious Bernese chocolate.

Continuing on to the Mattequartier down by the Aare River, you will discover the place where Rodolphe Lindt developed the first melt-in-the-mouth chocolate. The tour continues to the Matte distillery. Here you can look forward to a great tasting of spirits and taste the best Swiss chocolate.
