Culinary e-bike tour in Toggenburg

The approx. 5-hour round trip starts in Unterwasser at the Stofel cheese dairy. You can pick up your picnic here by 11:00 am. You will receive a full rucksack with delicious cheese specialties, fresh bread and a drink.

From here, you ride to Alt St. Johann. After you have covered a few meters in altitude, you can take your first break and treat yourself to a snack from your rucksack. It's best to find a nice bench, because up here you have a gigantic panoramic view of the Churfirsten.

After the break, head to Wildhaus. Stump's Alpenrose invites you to the next course. Your main course consists of very special cheese highlights from the region.

Dessert is not far away now. In the cosy Restaurant Gade, a rustic pub, Mr. Frei is finally waiting with a dessert from his own production. Cheese is available to take away. Take a piece of Toggenburg home with you.

Cheese and Toggenburg have belonged together for centuries. In fact, there is no other region in the entire Alpine region that has such a long and historic cheese tradition. For example, the production of Bloderkäse is said to date back to the Middle Ages. Nowadays, the cheese is considered the king of Toggenburg.
