Switzerland has many attractions to offer, but few are as famous as the Rhine Falls. It is the largest waterfall in Europe. Visit the thundering masses of water on this excursion in a comfortable coach. Get a unique view with the panoramic lift and learn exciting stories in the Historama. Shortly after noon you will board the coach in Zurich at 13:15 and be greeted by the tour guide. In a comfortable coach, the journey starts from Zurich to the beautiful northern part of Switzerland. On one part of the Grand Tour of Switzerland, the journey takes you through a beautiful wine-growing region with charming farming villages. On the way, the tour guide will tell you a lot about Swiss history and culture.
Not far from the German border, the medieval castle of Laufen towers high above the Rhine Falls. From here you take the panoramic lift down to the vicinity of the waterfall. The panoramic path Belvedere leads you to the viewing platform "Känzeli", directly on the water. Optionally, you can experience the spectacle with a boat ride in summer.
In the Historama you have the possibility to learn more about the natural spectacle. On two floors you can learn more about the historical significance and the influence of the Rhine Falls on nature and society.
Afterwards, the journey continues via Schaffhausen to Stein am Rhein. There you will be guided through the cozy little town. During a tour you will learn interesting facts about Stein am Rhein and visit the most important sights. At the end of the tour you will have some time to discover the town on your own. After this exciting excursion, the coach will take you back to Zurich.
